• Exhibition: Juried into the Village at Winona Art Festival. Writer David Slone wrote article published in 5/28/10 in Times Union titled "Swartzentruber's 'Totem Triptch' Is the Art of the Game".

• Grant: [spring & summer /09] Of 640 applicants, Swartzentruber was one of 128 honored Lilly Endowment Teacher Creativity Fellowship recipients. His grant was titled “A Graphic Novella: Aretaics in Post-Modernity”.

• Prose and poetry is being added to the "Totem Triptych." Writers should take a look.

• Exhibition: [fall/10] Swartzentruber exhibited in the "Carnivelsque" show at The Art Hospital in Bloomington, Indiana. This was the galleries last show before closing.
