About the Artist:

COMIC BOOK PUBLICATION:
"Drawing Foundations"

Market: ages 8-16
Distribution: Middle school art programs, bookstores, websites.
Description: A comic book that cover the elements and principals of art. The book is a brief 20 pages (2 sides) and could easily be expanded.
About the Artist: As a tenured public high school art teacher, Swartzentruber has won a variety of awards. This project was developed with the support by a Lilly Teacher's Creativity grant. He studied sequential art with Jose Delbo (Wonderwoman), Tex Blaisdell (Little Orphan Annie), Hye Eisman (The Katzenjammer Kids), and Joe Kubert (Tarzan).
The Project: The artist will work with your Art Director and Editor to pull this project together.
